Retubing pre-amp section

Hello,
I've just upgraded my output valves to =C= 6L6s and my MK4 has never sounded so good. Only problem now is that I want to upgrade my pre-amp valves...never one to be happy! Can anyone recommend an upgraded valve that might have a similar impact as the =C= ?

Remember that the preamp tubes is so important that you could get from a state of "selling this crappy sounding amp" to orgasm. :lol:

I was thinking of selling the IV before I threw 5 NOS tubes in the pre-amp section and a quad of winged C's..
