Replacing preamp tubes in Mark II.....suggestions?

I've decided to replace the V2 and V3 tubes in my Mark IIB (currently running 9th Gen Chinese)...I'm running NOS RFTs in V1 and PI, so no issues there. Looking for a quality tube recommendation that improves the Lead Channel on the Mark IIs.

Define what "improves" means to you. Brighter, darker, smoother, etc...

Smoother, richer, harmonics, pleasing to ear :lol: . I know there are limits to the IIB lead channel (I did have the FX mod, which certainly helped).
