Hey guys,

I just registered myself to gather some information concerning the Power Transformer conversion of a Lonestar Classic head.

I'm in the US right now and I just scored a great deal on a used Mesa Lonestar Classic which I'm planning on taking back to Belgium. Because this is an amp made for domestic use I will need to make some adjustments to get the amp running on 230V instead of the US 110V. I honestly prefer spending a bit more money changing the actual power transformer instead of using a regular step-down transformer. I do however have a few questions about changing the power transformer.

If I would drop in the following parts, will I be good to go to play and use the amp without any trouble? Will the amp be working fine a 100%?

Parts:
- 230V Power transformer #561141 [http://www.tubeampdoctor.com/produc...Transformators_mains_transformers&language=en]
- MOV 275V [http://www.tubeampdoctor.com/en/sho...resitors/MOV_Metal_Oxide_Varistor_MOV275_1638]
- 2A SLO BLO fuse

Is there anything else I need to look at or change? Do I have to worry about the 50Hz/60Hz difference, or has the voltage frequency no influence on the rest of the amp? Aren't all amps, apart from their power section, internally identical?

Thanks!
