replacement socket for preamp on Rectoverb

I may have damaged my V1 socket trying to retention it.
Would this be the replacement.

also, what would be the difficulty of trying to replace it? Of all the Preamps this one seems to be in the tightest spot.

Anyone replace V1 before and have any suggestions?

I do not believe that's the right socket. If you open up your amp and look at the sockets you will see that it looks like they mount through the pc board, not on it. You will most likely need to remove the board to do the replacement correctly.

Do yourself a favor and have a good tech qoute the job. It may be less expensive than you think.

I see what you are saying. The only issue is there are not a lot of amp tech in my area.
