I looked at http://www.accutronicsreverb.com/, but can't figure out how to spec a replacement tank for my Mark IV (just bought on eBay…hasn't arrived yet, but has no reverb). How can I figure out which to order?

Accutronics says mounting the reverb on the floor of the cabinet is the least desirable option, but in the short head, that's the only place it will fit. Any discussion on this?

I believe those come without a cover. I would order it directly from Mesa, the metal cover is about 5 dollars extra.
It's about the same price and you can get everything you need, tank and cover from the same place.

PM member known as "gts", or research his threads. The tank in a head hangs upside-down as compared to the combo, and this can cause problems.

Hope this helps :D

I just ordered one from Mesa. No cover. It's an extra 5 dollars. The combo amps have a piece of wood used to cover the tank inside the bag. If you use one of those tanks you need to get the cover otherwise you have the wood about 2mm from the power tubes. If you order direct from accutronics the cover may be included but I didn't see that option on the web site.
The one I received was made to be mounted from the top. If you turn the tank over for a head shell the floating devise inside bottoms out.
You need to adjust the springs so it floats. They are the 4 springs holding the middle section. If you don't do this the reverb won't work.
