How hard is it to remove the jute grill off a multi-watt dual recto? I wanna change mine to black diamond plate. I'm assuming it's the same as removing the diamond plate with a hair dryer?

When I took apart my lonestar cab, the front panel had a few screws coming from the inside. Once those were out, there was a rubber gasket that was sticky which is designed to keep things from rattling. With a little bit of pressure, it started to peel off. If you have struggle, you missed a screw.

I guess not many have probably done it because everyone wants to go the other way. Like get rid of the diamond plate to put on something less tacky

Agreed. I thought about offering to trade your jute grill for the black diamond plate on my roadster, but I receently switched out the knobs on my roadster I kinda started digging the look of the chicken head knobs with the diamond plate.
