So I played a Triaxis & 50/50 rig with a Rocktron Intellifex for around seven years 50 or so weeks a year..........In 2007 I got all amp "GASSY" & purchased a couple of Diezels & a Bogner which I've been rotating the last few years. For whatever reason, I decided to pull out my 'ol Triaxis rack for the gig last weekend & it just Rocked!!!!!
I went straight to the board from the recording out for the FOH mix & used a 1x12 Mesa Widebody for my stage sound & it killed in every way possible! The tone was awesome and cut through the mix waaaay better than micing cabs.
I guess the moral of this story is that I've got a bunch of high dollar german made amps that are going to market as soon as it picks up a little............I'm not dissing them because they are incredible amps, I just realized that the Triaxis has and alway's will be "MY" rig..........
