Rectoverb foot switch delay?

Anyone else have this problem? I have a slight delay in the switch, when I switch channels...

on my Rectoverb head using the midi Footswitch.

Its a common affliction of the 2nd gen single rectos.

You know, Ive had mine for 3 years now, and Ive been meaning to ask Mesa about it, and its pathetic that I havent, especially since I actually live really close to Mesa HQ. I have no idea though, Id imagine there is. It never bothered me that much though, because its rare that I need to do a lightning quick channel change.

I just called them... they're not open on Fridays....

I wonder if I put an analog switch, it'll fix it?

we tried it, it seemed to make it a little better, but didnt cure the problem.
I even tried using my F series footswitch, which didnt change a thing.
