Hi Guys:
Just wanted to put this piece of info out there for future reference.
I was having some trouble with the effects loop on my Series 2 Rectoverb (which by the way I just got and absolutely LOVE). I was running a Holy Grail Nano because the Rectoverb has a horrible reverb.
At any rate, my son uses the same reverb unit on his DR and he never has any issues. My Rectoverb would start to loop a low frequency feedback when I turned the effect on the Nano up past the 1/2 way point.
I thought it was just a nuance of the Rectoverb but I was wrong. On a whim I replaced the 12AX7 that was responsible for the effects loop and the problem went away completely. I can use whatever setting I want now with no feedback issues.
Seems that the tube had gone microphonic.
Chris
