Just loking for tips on what to look for, whether i should replace the cable or if it could be a tube issue....

Anyone have any experience with this problem?

Thanks

I had the same issue, it was something on the board, cheap fix at the tech's place....

I am having the same issue. Is there anything to try before I bring it to a tech?

Check the spring reverb tank for foam. The guy who sold me my Rectoverb told me that the when he got it, the reverb didn't work because the foam placed in the reverb tank to prevent the springs from slapping around during shipping was not removed. Naturally, this also prevented the reverb from working. If you've got a combo, the tank should be strapped to the bottom of the cab in a leatherette case. Worst part is taking the back off the cab... so the whole thing's a pretty easy fix. If you don't find anything inside the tank, do the obvious checks of making sure it's hooked up properly, and if all else fails, take it to an amp tech.

Make sure you look at the wiring inside the tank while you have it open. The wires are small and often get damaged during shipping.
Also, if you have another set of RCA cables, you might want to try them while you have the amp open.

The Rectoverb has a solid state reverb. So, unfortunately, it can't be a tube related issue.
