I have not tried this yet, but there are many different speaker scenarios in the user manual pdf, from Mesa's site.

As long as the total combined impedance is no less than the lowest output of the amp (4 ohm, usually, for Mesa amps), you will have no problem.
And tele twister is right; the Mesa manuals address this in detail. :wink:
