Hi, I own a Recto Recording Pre and am having a problem with it.
Setup: I'm routing the LiveOutput of the Recto to a Marshall Avt 150's FX return.
Situation:I cannot get sound through the Recording or Live outputs.
Before this debilitating situation, it seemed that the LiveOutput control stopped controlling the
output. Contrary to the above situations, I can get a signal (faint in comparison to the LiveOutput) when
routing the FX send on the Recto to the FX return on the Marshall.
Troubleshooting: The Marshall seems to be fine. I've changed chords were applicable.
I have tested the Recto LiveOutput on both the FX Return
on the Marshall and even the guitar input on the Marshall as well
(done with caution and precedence). Neither resulting in audible sound.
Thank you for reading this and lending any information you can about the situation. After unplugging my amp and setting it up in a different part of the house I literally went from this rich overpowering sound to nothing. And yes, I know I have a Marshall Avt to play. But its just not the same. At all.
