Recto Multi Watt channel 2 and 3 question?

Just got a multi watt recto. I notice when i set the exact same settings on channel 2 and 3 (only tried it on the RAW mode) that channel 3 is quieter and a little darker. They are both on 100 watt with silicone diode. Has anyone else noticed this? I was under the understanding that on the new recto's that channel 2 and 3 are the same now. ANyone else notice the same?

The channels in Multi watt Rectos are identical.

My guess is the differences you find are related minor differences in pot values due to tolerance. I don't know how closely Mesa matches the pot values, but their tolerance might be up to +-10% leading to differences in their actual values.

Thank you for the reply. Yeah, it's a pretty big difference but that may be all it is.

Nope, there's definitely something wrong. On channel 3 RAW and VINTAGE the presence has no effect at all from 0-10. It only seems to work on modern.

Fixed it! There was a wire off of one of the posts on the presence pot
