As you can see on my other thread in "modern era amp" i'm about to change my rig i'm tempted by the roadking or roadster.

Now i have a new thought about the 20/20 since i looked in the back of it and i realised there's 2 slave out! It would be perfect for a very nice and simple guitar rig with maybe a rocktron solid state power amp velocity for the wet section.

The question is, will it look like a genuine recto sound? I'm not sure. All i know is that i've heard my recto pre in the 2:50 and i didn't like it.

More i'm thinking about that , more i want a recto head. I sold my single rectifier last year for a recto pre and i'm coming back to a head

Here's a very serious case of GAS. I think i will go to sleep, it will be better like this...Good night. 8)

Today i've tried the 20/20 with my recto pre at the store. Very powerfull amp! It's as much difficult as the 2:100 to play at low volume.

The clean of my preamp sound very good! Vintage mode looks better (IMHO) than 2:100 but when i came back to the 2:100 with the modern mode i cannot look back to the 20/20.

In conclusion: the power rate does'nt mean much to me since i tried the 20/20. My advise for the future recto pre owner, try the 20/20! If you like classic rock maybe the 20/20 is better for you, it sound very good.

For my part i couldn't live without the modern mode...
