Hey everyone,

I'm new to the board and this is my first post! I have a rather specific question that's been puzzling me for awhile. I play a single rectifier through a 4x12 rectifier cab. I have read the manual for my head and understand that if I hook up two 8 ohm cabs to the two 4 ohm outputs all is well. What I don't understand is the two 4 ohm speaker jacks on the back of my cab. They say "Split Stereo" next to them. Are they in series, for a total of 8 ohms, making it okay for me to plug in my two 4 ohm jacks to them? Or is it parallel and doing so would result in a 2 ohm load on my amp? This has been confusing me forever. If you know the answer let me know!

The other question I have is if I plug in just one cable from one 4 ohm out on my amp into one 4 ohm in on my cab, am I running just one side (2x12) of my cab? Because that's what it seems like.
