Im looking into getting a new 4x12 cab and ive so far been looking into The mesa Stiletto cabs and the rectifier cabs. However ive heard alot of good things about Vader cabs and im wondering has anyone got any experience of Vader 4x12? Ive heard they are a match made in heaven for a Peavey xxx but some people said they dont suit the rectifier sound. As i live in ireland each cab would roughly be the same price here so id be basing it on which i think suits my needs better rather than on price alone. Any info you guys can share is much appreciated.

And yeah i know ill never use the 480watts the vaders can handle but if the cabs sounds good then i dont mind it having such a high power rating.

Cheers

Since you're on that side of the pond, I honestly feel like something from a European manufacturer (Diezel, ENGL, etc.) might get you more bang for your buck in high end guitar cabinets.

I'm a big fan of the Mesa Stiletto cabs, and Mills Acoustics cabs if we're talking US made.

+1

I have heard over the years that while they are good cabs, they arent anything super special. Decent construction, decent speakers (Eminence Legends), but nothing mind blowing. I agree with Eric. I would go with Orange or Deizel cabs.

Thanks for the info guys! But as far as i can see all the cabs are roughly the same price here. In fact the Vaders are actually a little bit cheaper. I was thinking of Orange or Matamp cabs as ive heard lots of good things about them both. Can anyone share their preferances for which cab SOUNDS best to them with a recto?

Thanks again lads!

Best is SOOO subjective. That question is impossible for me to answer FOR YOU over the internet.

The best cab I've played with a Rectifier is my Mills Acoucstic Afterburner 412B. Beats out every other cab for the tones I like.

Thanks for the info! I think ill look into some of the ENGL cabs and the orange ones too. Ive heard good things about both.
