sup guys? I just picked up an Electra Dyne rig and it's making want to play around with speaker combos. I now have a Rectifier 2x12 with the stock V30s and an Electra Dyne 2x12 that came with a V30 and an MC90. I'm still getting used to the Dyne cab, it's my first experience with an open back, and with an MC90, but it sounds awesome.
I'm thinking of taking the already broken-in V30s from my Recto cab and putting them into the Dyne cab and vice versa. That would give me a little more of a "classic" vibe in the Dyne cab which will be used with my Electra Dyne head and a Vox AC30 head. My thoughts are that the MC90 in the Recto cab will work well for higher gain sounds, and have a fuller, more balanced sound.
Anyone played around with mixing in an MC90 in a Recto 2x12?
