Rect-O-Verb channel switching fade in/out

Hi there, I recently got a Single Rec 50W Rect-O-Verb and I noticed there is a fade in/out going between the rhythm and lead channels. I know this is common of the series 1 models and was wondering if there was anyone who knew if there was a possible fix for this problem as it takes a couple seconds for the fade in to bring the channel volume up to normal level again. More frustrating than a problem but i would like to know if anyone has some advice.

I had one almost a year ago. Switching was the only complaint I had with he amp. I never found a solution nor heard of one. Doesn't mean one isn't out there. I just never looked into it to hard. This is a pretty comment complaint with the Series 1's.
