has anyone ever recovered a marshall 1960B cabinet? The actualy material recovering doesnt faze me but the corners and cups on the top of the cab have rivets and i have no clue how to replace them.

Wow, can't believe someone hasn't gave you an answer yet... The problem isn't installing the rivets. The problem is removing them.. I completely rebuilt my 1960 cab, tolex, speaker, all corners, etc.... The best way to remove them is with patience. I used a small screwdriver to gently lift\pry them from their holes. Once removed and the cab in reuphostered, just take a nylon hammer and beat them in.... no problem

thanks for the reply, i was surprised to see one finally. do the rivets really go back in easily? and will they hold good and not fall off if the cab is bumbed around?
