My series 2 rectoverb combo seems to suddenly have a volume problem. I was playing last night at low volume and suddenly power seemed to drop significantly. As I turn up the amp is does not get nearly as loud as before. Some other strange things that coincide with this problem are tone that sounds more like static than distortion as well as when I hit certain notes the volume seems to swell up a bit as I let the notes ring out. I have not had a chance to try anything yet. Could it be bad power tubes or as I saw suggested somewhere else a faulty phase inverter? Please help, this sucks.
