So i have a Mark IV compact combo, the problem is the chassis vibrates and moves around because its not secured properly. I tighten the screws on top as much as i can, btu the chassis still has about 1/8'' of wiggle room. I tried shimming under the screw and it just doesnt work. Any ideas? It appears the real problem is the crappy foam they used down in the holes that the washers rest on.

Aren't they supposed to be like that? Having that slop in there helps absorb shock I'm thinking.

Mine moves around a little if I push on it; In 12 years of gigging, never caused me any trouble. Probably because of the built in slop!

check it.

I could understand there being a little bit of wiggle, but theres over 1/8'' clearance from the top of the chassis to the cabinet above it. is this normal?

That's normal. You can always take the sus4 shock mounts out and give them to me. :D

when the chassis vibrates, does it affect your sound? Or are you just concerned with the possible effect on your tubes, if the vibration is significant? those shock mounts is a great feature though.
