I have had problems off and on with my dual rec footswitch. Sometimes it works fine, other times not so much. I can switch to channels 1 and 2, but sometimes I hit channel 3 and it stays on channel 2. The question is, Why?

Without sounding like a master of stating the obvious, seems to be a short somewhere in the signal chain. Either the footswitch itself or cable.
Everything inside the chassis is hardwired and it used to work perfect, right?

fs or cable.

Yeah, a short would be the obvious problem, and thats probably it. But sometimes if i shut the dual down, and wait a few minutes, then power it back up, the channels switch fine. Its a selective short i guess.

hmmmmm :?

One of the true Mesa masters on this forum would know, as I am not...
but workin' on it

But that's why I own and love my 2 channel DR, less circuitry jam, less bs, MORE tone.
