I'm having trouble getting a nice heavy sound out of the 4th channel (Lamb of God-ish), and was wondering if any of you have this amp, could maybe share some settings? I'm also interested in settings for the other channels that i can try!

hey, Try adding more bass and treble. your mid and precence sould be pretty high aswell. make sure you turn up the volume on that specific channel and play with some of the other settings like the 3 way switch for that channel (Raw, vintage modern) and to get the tube to break up more turn the amp to 50 watts. post back and let me know if this helps.

later, happy tone hunting!

we got the same amp by the way!!! you like it right?

I'm returning it tomorrow.
I've spent 15 hours non stop trying to get the "sound" that i've been looking for. I think it may be the fact that im not running it through a 4x12. I may buy the head and the cab. I'm not quite sure yet.

I've gotten some NICE tones out of it, but not quite what i was trying to get.

are you looking for a more heavy tone? if so turn the amp around and look at the back. there are 2 way switches that give you the options of rectro tracking or diodi. play with that and also, on the power switch it give you a choice of bold or spongy. put it to spongy.

post back if anything changes to your liking

Brand new man, that's why i'm so confused too.

I can get great tones out of the first 3 channels.
But the fourth channel just ain't workin

what fx are you running and what kinds of guitar are you using? there are lots of sample setting in the forum if you do a search. Do you use an eq in the loop?

I'm running it dry with a stock les paul studio lol.

When i played it in the store with an esp with emgs, it was close to the sound i was lookin for, but i dont want to resort to emgs unless i have to

One of the greatest things that emg's do is that they really drive the hell out of the front of your amp. If the sound you liked was using emg's, why not not use them? Or if you're completely opposed to them, try a boost in front. The emg's make a night and day difference with my Mark III, I can't imagine it would be any different with a Roadster.
