I'm having trouble getting a nice heavy sound out of the 4th channel (Lamb of God-ish), and was wondering if any of you have this amp, could maybe share some settings? I'm also interested in settings for the other channels that i can try!

robyrobster12 said:are you looking for a more heavy tone? if so turn the amp around and look at the back. there are 2 way switches that give you the options of rectro tracking or diodi. play with that and also, on the power switch it give you a choice of bold or spongy. put it to spongy.
post back if anything changes to your liking
robyrobster12 said:well if it sounds to bassy then turn down the bass and turn up the treble. lol you just gotta play with it. i know you've been at it for 15 hours but dont give it up! the amp is verstle, you just gotta find it. keep searchin for it
peace, happy tone hunting

TheBlackman said:what fx are you running and what kinds of guitar are you using? there are lots of sample setting in the forum if you do a search. Do you use an eq in the loop?
One of the greatest things that emg's do is that they really drive the hell out of the front of your amp. If the sound you liked was using emg's, why not not use them? Or if you're completely opposed to them, try a boost in front. The emg's make a night and day difference with my Mark III, I can't imagine it would be any different with a Roadster.Easbury said:TheBlackman said:what fx are you running and what kinds of guitar are you using? there are lots of sample setting in the forum if you do a search. When i played it in the store with an esp with emgs, it was close to the sound i was lookin for, but i dont want to resort to emgs unless i have to
