Hey, I wasn't quite clear from the manual on this, but I am curious, can you run a cable out from the slave out into a mixer to go to the FOH? Thanks

Yeah, you can. It will sound awful though. No balls at all. Very thin. You can send it to a tube mic pre, and then a mixer. It'll fatten it up a little. Ideally though, you want to use IRs. Look into them. (impulse responses) That will make an ENORMOUS difference. Make it sound like normal.

Do impulse response come in a pedal? I have looked all over and they seem to be primarily plugins for things like pro tools or reaper.

Reason I would be interested in a pedal more so is because I can use my hotplate as a power soak and run the slave out to a pedal, into a mixer, then into my headphones

There are a few options out there it all depends on the compromises you're willing to take. I used salve out to a UltraG behringer DI which is voiced to emulate a 4x12" cab. You don't get to choose here. There are 2x 20dB pads and a ground lift. Its very convenient. Look at the reviews on harmony central. Hugh & Kettner have restarted selling the red box DI which was widely used. Then there is more expansive speaker emulators like Palmer and such but that's entirely for other purposes.
