First, thanks as usual in advance for the great help I've always gotten on this forum. Now, my questions:

-Context
I have an LSC and an LSS; I want to A/B/Y them; I bought an A/B/Y pedal (Art technology or something). Either it is really noisy or I need better cables.

-Questions
--Has anybody used a great A/B/Y pedal that they like?
--How about this one:

--I use average quality cables; is there really a compelling case for moving to high end stuff (e.g. Monster)?
--If yes on moving to high-end stuff: any recommendations?

As for the cables, I've used a cheap 18ft. Fender Electro-Volt cable for years. I finally got my Mesa a month or so ago, and also got a PRS Custom 22 not long before that, and kept using the same cable. I eventally heard someone say that if you drop $1500 on a guitar and about the same on an amp, why put a $10 cable between the two. So I finally ordered a George L's .225 20ft. cable this past week. I've only had it for a couple of days, but man there's a huge difference! It made my amp a lot quieter and gave my sound so much more depth and clarity. A very good investment, and was only $40 (and would be cheaper if you buy the cable and the ends and just put it all together yourself, very easy with George L's). Getting a good quality cable is a no-brainer and an absolute must in my opinion.

im useing the framptone 3 banger,no tone suckage at all dead quiet, you can also get a 2 banger ,a/b pedal i love this thing! you find it at robert keeleys web site.. i have an old whirlwind ive been useing for the past 14years! sounds great, i also got some geoege ls with the framptone from the keeley site,i lovem, evidence are pretty **** good from what i hear also ,,dont forget a quality speaker cable!! :!:

I was in exactly your position and was considering many reviews for a lot of A/B/Ys and 3-switchers and splitters and whatnot.

I read dozens of reviews and even had a thread on here just a couple weeks ago on the subject: http://forum.grailtone.com/viewtopic.php?t=15737

The only choice if I didn't want to sacrifice tone was the VooDoo Amp Selector. I bought it and my tone is unchanged through my Dual Rectifier and both of my other rigs, all three going at once.

Love it.

MusiciansFriend isn't shipping until the 10th, so I bought it from Zzounds, shipped same day and I got it the next day for just $7 extra (!). Free for standard shipping.

As the guys here on the forum said, if you pay thousands for your rig, $230 for no tone loss in a splitter is a small fee. And it comes with a 5 year warranty.
