quad preamp

hello,
does anybody know if the mesa boogie quad preamp can be rewired/converted from 110v U.S. power to 240v australian power, without replacing the transformer
i know some older mesa stuff u were able to do this, as i was with the strategy 500 power amp it has a bi-wire set up

Yes it can! I'm sure there's a thread on here somewhere...

The quad's mains input transformer has a split primary that can be rewired to work 110 or 220Vac. Rewiring is just a matter of disconnecting all the primary input wires and finding out what is what using a resistance meter. But don't get it wrong or it'll blow up!

oh, and mind that switching neutral... It's lethal!
