Quad preamp graphic EQ

Hi, does anybody know if the 2 graphic EQs are pre or post overdrive/distortion?

Thanks ,crane for the response! So, would then make any sense to purchase an eq pedal like MXR M-108 Ten Band Graphic EQ and put it in front of the Quad while still using the on-board Quad one?

In the Quad, based on the mark II and III, the EQ is placed right after the first gain stage, while the graphic EQ is placed after the third/fifth gain stage. Using a preEQ will accentate or attenuate some frequencies going through all the gain stages. IMO the better way is to borrow one, try out and see if this will satisfy you. It's a matter of taste !

So.. my graphical EQ is really difficult to work at, very hard to move and has extremely uneven response.. especially the 6600Hz slider.

Maybe I should try to replace them ?

Would it require good soldering skills?

Would it be enough with the slider, or also the inductor?
