Howdy guys,
So Im using my G-major's relay switch to change channels on my Quad and it works fine for the most part but Im noticing a blurring when switching from high gain to clean tones, its like Im hearing both channels at once for about 1 second or less.
I have taken the G major 2 out of the signal path and it does the same thing so I know that is not causing an issue. If I turn down the Input gain on the Quad to about 5 the issue seems to disappear but its quite noticeable when set higher. Ideally I'd like to have my Input level set high and not have this problem.
So Im wondering if this is a common issue with the Quad or if its a problem with the G-majors relay switch not working 100% with the Quad?
Im looking at the following options to solve the issue. ( I also need a midi controller)
Behringer fcb1010 (has amp switching)
Proel MS32 (has amp switching)
Voodoo Labs Control Switcher with midi-mate controller
GCX Switcher with midi-mate controller
Any info and/or experiences would be great!
Thanks
Shane
