Hi, I'm trying to record my amp directly with the CabClone included in the amp, but I don't like it..
I think that it migth be some problem with the amp or something. The amp with a cab, with my band.. sounds perfect, no problem at all, I like it a lot.. But when I'm trying to record with CaBClone, or playing with my headphoes.. wow.. The clean channel is horrible, with a lot of distortion (I'm using a different volumes and auto-sense funcion in quad capture, no matter what, is always awful, never clear). Is it possbile that somethings is worng with my cabClone? what can I check?

It almost sounds like you are overdriving the buffer (or preamp) on your audio interface. If the signal out is too strong, you end result will be distorted as it may be clipping the input on the audio interface device you are using. You may need to add a PAD between the cab clone output and the audio interface. Does your audio interface use XLR inputs? If you are using an XLR to 1/4 (tip and ring) cable, that may not be the best choice. I would assume you need a line level input to use the cab-clone as it is intended for use with a mixer, PA, or recorder/interface that uses line level signals. I have yet to try out the cab clone on the JP-2C but I will get around to it someday. I would check to see if your cab clone has the +4/-10 dB switch. If you are distorting the clean switch to the -10dB setting as this is a lower signal level but may still be considered line level. (instrument level can range between -10dB and -20dB), Check your DI audio interface for the signal levels needed. If it has a preamp built in with signal level or gain controls, set them as low as you can.

^^ What he said.

I'll just add that I have a cab clone stand alone unit. It sounds most 'true' when I'm running clean sounds. On crunch and high gain it tends to get a bit thin and mod rangey. Also, the cab clone sounds much better when a speaker is hooked up, IMHO. It keeps a more full sound on crunch and high gain.
