Price check/advice needed for a Mark IV

Someone is advertising a Mark IV, Rev A it seems (no reverb control on footswtich, but he says there's a separate connector for a reverb control), made in 1990, recently retubed. He's asking for 1500$CAD.

Anything I should know/look for before shelling out the $$?
