Pretenders on VH1 decades live - Hiwatt & Fender cleans

OK, I've seen this VH1 decades live with the Pretenders a few times now and their clean sound ... WOW these cleans are dripping with super-beautiful top-end harmonics/overtones/chime. I don't ever remember hearing a better clean-"almost driven to the point of clipping" sound. Wow.

1) is it the lead guitarist's Hiwatt or Hynde's Fender?
2) can I get even close with my LSC?
