On my RKII in channel 3, the Raw and Vintage mode have a very noticeable sweep to the presence knob, and in Modern mode, the difference is very slight on the whole range.
Similarly, in channel 4, Raw and Vintage have a very less noticeable sweep until about 3:00 on the presence control (and it gets super bright afterwards), whereas Modern has a noticable sweep throughout the entire range.
In other words, channel 3 vintage/raw is brighter than channel 4 vintage/raw with every knob set to noon, but in modern mode, channel 4 is brighter than channel 3 (which is how it should be). Is that normal? Could this be a loose wire, or is that just the nature of the different potentiometer value? I just had my amp shipped back from Mesa for something else and I fear a wire may have been knocked around, or something. I have a feeling that's merely how the potentiometer sweep works, but I thought I'd look for other input before I go writing emails to techs.
