The cleanest and cheapest I've ever seen by far. serial number appears to be 442 in the picture.

Man that thing is clean ! He has the Mesa 454 Svet's in there too, very nice sounding tube.

serial 442 and he claims it's a 94, hmmmm.

I tend to think this is gonna go way up though, still 9 days left in the auction. Australia pays through the teeth for Mesa's these days.

I don't think he knows what he's got...The seller confirmed that the sn is 442 via email...definately not a 94'! But like you said, since its coming from down under, its gonna be an expensive buy either way.

Yeah this one is definitely a 92 probably June-ish, right? Also has the 220 volt export transformer. I bet it probably sells Down Under as these things will get past $2000.+ normally. NOT TO MENTION  PRE500 !!!!!!

The sticker that had the serial # is not there anymore, He took close up pics of the manufacture date written on the inside of the chassis. He claims that he called Mesa Boogie regarding the serial # and said it would be somewhere around 1000 since it was made in April of 1993.

it sounds like it is a revision "F", I'd look in the chassis to confirm...but if thats the case, I would expect a revision F to go for a little bit more than your average recto...but not a great deal more. If its a normal black chassis/aluminum diamond version, i would guess it would go for $1,100-1,200 on ebay. It might be a tough sell since the serial # is missing though...Any one else want to weigh in?

April 93 would be closer to 1300's, my Jan 93 is 1109, my buddy has 1237 March 93.
It would still be a Revision F AND serial loop !, which is a great sounding Recto. As long as the completion date is on the chassis, no biggie.

I was thinking of buying this one

This would be the one to get man, April 93, Revision F with series loop !!! Doesn't get better than this as the clean mode in Orange channel is really nice too. You can even squeeze some Mark series lead tones out of the Orange channel variable high gain mode or clone both channels.
Of Course, the Red channel has the finest high gain, capable of the fiercest, crunchy, peel the paint off the walls, scare small children distortion. :)
