I am planning on buying a furman power c. and I was wonder if I should get the 20 amp or 15 amp version?

If your wall socket is rated for 15 amps then you will only get 15 amps worth no matter how high your power strip is rated. A small guitar rig should not need more than 8 amps worth of current(that's pretty generous too). Buy for your needs and leave some room to grow but too much is too much in some cases.

Ok well I am not sure what the sockets are rated in canada so basically I will be using

Mesaboogie dual recto with a korg tuner, dbx noise surpress, and some delay unit.

Will I be able to plug my amp into the power cond?

you should have no problems running all your equipment from one power conditioner. im not too familiar with amperes, but a dual rec shouldnt suck up too many of them

I am a total convert to having conditioned power (I us a Triaxis, 20/20 and a roctron xpression), and if you read this it gives a fantastic insight into both cables and earthing and, well everything including RFI, spikes the lot, and tons of stuff you might never have thought about!!!

Read all of it and be enlightened....
