man, i notice a LOT of you guys are rocking the JP guitars and whatnot....Petrucci love much??!!?! :lol: 8)

I dont mean to sound rude or anything....but maybe I dont understand what is so special about those guitars. I can understand being unfluenced by good tone, but why get the same exact stuff as the the guy who made the impact, rather than finding what works better for you?

While I do love Petrucci's playing, I suppose it's more that him and I see eye to eye when it comes to designing a guitar. If it didn't have his name on it, I'd still buy one. That neck. O my, that neck.
 
bryan_kilco, have you actually played a MM Petrucci? There really is no other guitar out there like it. It has a very unique feel.

no, I havent. Around here, Guitar Center and Sam Ash etc dont really carry much higher end gear like Mesa and GOOD guitars. Bummer. :?

nothing to do with him, everything to do with the fact that the BFR is maybe the best playing and sounding guitar in the world..
