You mean you pulled yourself? You might want to call a dentist, that could easily get infected and get really nasty really easily.

hmmmmm ... when I had my wisdom teeth (4) pulled (rather knocked off) ... I bleed for a week (not alot). I phoned the dentist if this is normal. Yes.

... but a couple of months ...?

If U mean a wound hole, definitley not normal after so long.
If U mean a healed wound but leaving a sort of cavity, that's different.
Unlikely to fill itself, but yr dentist is the dude to ask.
Hopefully he doesn't say reparative work.
"crackles" could be a million things..again, ask the dentist.

I had a two holes that remained for a while after I had my wisdom teeth pulled even though my gums healed. It took quite awhile to fill in all the way. If you are not bleeding or do not have any infections you should be good.

Best of luck! Jeff

It's going to be a while bro.

It took me a good year to a year and a half to fully recover from my quadruple wisdom tooth pull. I still have TMJ.

what he said.

mine took quite awhile to close up too.

I guess I got really lucky. I had no wisdom teeth. Although, I fell off a swing and hit my front right tooth when I was a kid and killed that tooth. Then I was at baseball practice and a scuffed up ball went around my glove, in the outfield, and hit me in the mouth. Killed the same tooth again. I had to have a root canal and porcelin tooth put in. That was not fun at all.
