I have a MINT 6 month old (still 4 and 1/2 years left on the transferable warranty) Roadster head and 3/4 back 1x12 cab that I am thinking about selling. It works great, and I love it, BUT I am not in a band right now and it just doesn't make sense to have a high dollar amp sitting in my living room that I barely turn up when I have a chance to do so. I have ALL paperwork, slipcover, and the original box. I picked the head and cab up from fellow boogie member mdortona not too long ago. The tubes are all stock and only have 50 hours on them or so if I had to guess. I would like to move to a combo amp for ease of transport and portability...

It's not an easy decision to sell this stuff!

$2000 shipped for both head and cab...

If I don't get what I want out of it, i'll gladly hold on to it. It's a fabulous amp! I just hate seeing it spend all it's time in my living room when I know it is capable of so much more!

A combo comparable to the Roadster is going to be heavy! I prefer my 2ch DR and 2x12 over my old ROV combo for portability.

Good luck

Just curious. How is the warranty still 5 1/2 years? I thought the warranty was only 5 years to start?

BTW, keep the amp. I'm not in a band and I have an RKII, Studio Pre, 50/50, 4x12 traditional, Carvin Legacy, 3 Carvin guitars and 3 Ernie Balls.

Just have fun man.

Oops! Good catch CudBucket. 4 1/2 years is the amount left, not 5 1/2!

(changing original post for correctness now)

Like i've said, I will only sell for the right price. Otherwise, i'll hang on to it...

would you like to trade the head for a black PRS Singlecut 20th anniversary?

Nah, I tried the PRS guitar thing and although they are top-notch in quality and extremely beautiful, they just don't have the 'sound' i'm after. Thanks for the offer!

Sorry to see you sell it Adam, but I see your point in a way. FWIW, I have yet to find a Boogie combo that wasn't a hernia waiting to happen
This is based on brief ownership of Mark IV compact combo, a DC combo, and a Heartbreaker (OK so that's a 2x12 combo). Might a power soak be a more practical solution or perhaps an AxeTrak cab http://www.jlhproducts.com/axetrak/main.asp ? Just a few ideas.

Think it through......

Matt

P.S. The Mark IV and theile combo are smokin' with the new band. First gig is next week-end.

I know you want a combo.... but would ya be interested at all with a freshly retubed splawn quick rod for the roadster head? It has JJ kt77's. I'm still kinda on the fence about letting it go, the only thing I'd probally get rid of it for is a roadster.
