Thank god the IV is getting the credit it so richly deserves!

I love my Mark II, and my Mark I is a total badass - it never gets old to plug into that vintage gear and what you hear coming out of your amp is the same as Zappa, Steely Dan, Santana etc... they've got bags of personality and play just as good today as they did when they were made...both before I was born, in actual fact! But it's the IV which I go back to time and time and time again.

Absolute perfection as a 'desert island amp', superb.

Each time I play any other amp (and I've played through a GREAT many - I'm a gear enthusiast :lol: ), it just makes me want to come back to my Mark IV (A-EVM short combo). It is the only amp I've owned which made me feel this way.

Long live to the IV.

im interested in the V... i'm prob gonna get one too....

and doesnt everyone just come to the forum and click view new posts? (unless they are posting) thats all i do so i can see every post. (i may like the IIc+ more for straight tone, but i think the V is prob better for me)
