Just wanted to share a couple of pics of the Mark IV that I picked up this week. It's a 1992 model, note the way the chasis is mounted simular to the way the Mark III combos were done. It's kind of hard to tel in these pics, but the tolex is a forest green color. It looks very classy in my opinion. I am really digging this little tone machine!

It looks great! Actually, it looks just like mine only different. Mine is the standard issue black tolex and grill. It must be around the same year though because the cabinet looks identical.

Here's another pic from a recent show. I need to take a "family" pic with the TOV head too!

Boogiebabies, how would I go about dating my MKIV? Where is the serial number on these beasts? Is there a formula, or do you have to look them up in a database somewhere? Thanks in advance...

The serial number is underneath the chassis - look below where the graphic eq rocker is. I just checked mine out - I have "11-91 GM" written in marker on the bottom of the chassis and serial number IV3764. I'm the original owner, but for the life of me I can't remember exactly when I bought it - I know it was direct from Boogie...

Anyway, here's a pic:

Thanks, the serial on mine is IV-006554 I've no idea how to turn that into a date though.

So they made about 3200 MarkIV's in just over a year? They must have been busy because I know they were making other stuff too. My serial is in the 560's and dated about a year and two months before yours on the pcb 9-7-90. There is no date on the exterior of my chassis but there is on the mounting side flange of 9-14-90 and one on the masking tape from the build. DAY A? Mark IV #38?

Pundix,
Take your chassis out and look for dates if there are none visible from the outside.
