Hey all, new poster here, hoping I can get a little help from you good people.
My issue is that I'm running stereo amps - Road King I and a little nameless boutique amp (2 el84s, class A) - which sound great together until I switch to channels 3 or 4 on the Road King, where I get serious phasing issues.
From what I've read (and please correct me if I'm wrong), this is likely because of the added gain stage on channels 3 and 4 of the RK which flips the phase. What I'm hoping to get help with is a way to address this on the amp end of things, but I have no idea how to go about this when its channel specific. Could it be as simple as removing the extra preamp tube that kicks in on channels 3 and 4? Would that damage the amp? Is there some piece of equipment out there that will allow me to do channel specific phase inverting?
Any help at all would be much appreciated! Thanks!
