Petrucci: Old V. New tone

On SFAM, he still used ibanez on album, its in the liner notes. He also used c+s and probably mkiv's, it was in his live rig.

Falling into Infitity live lead tone is great though! he should have never stopped using the c+s, now his tone is way too crunchy, and he ruins it with too much chorus imo.

I think it's the mid's. He is cutting too much out these days. his eq has gone from a slight cut of mids with more bass and alittle more treble to now which is no mid's and full bass and treble. thats abit full on. and you can hear it.
