Having a little trouble with this. I'm doing it on a series 2 rectoverb as well.
The schematic isnt very detailed or clear. I took the schematic as looking at the back of the amp, with it removed from the chassie and flipped upside down.
I did the wire swap, removed the right wire, and soldered the left wire onto the center lug of the pot as the schematic shows.
After plugging it in, all i get is my clean channel(and its very bright), and my distortion channel is giving me nothing(i can just faintly faintly hear it).

So 2 questions: When you "tie off" the right wire, do you just leave it connected to nothing? I just electric taped the tip and left it hanging.
And am I looking at the schematic correctly? I would half to be because to have the send and return on the left, the amp has to be upside down.

Whats wrong?

Ok, i tinkered around a little more and tested some tubes and that was the issue. One must have gotten jostled around too much
