Overdriving v-twin with a super hard on?

Will it be alright to overdrive my v-twin with my SHO? I really like the sound of it in the clean chanel, sounds like the blues but with 10 times the sparkle and dimension. But.....I heard a pop from the setup 2 times will i was doing this , it could be amp/speaker? but dont know, thought i would ask around. :?:

Should be fine. It's no different than pushing a amp with a SHO.
