Overall Difference between Rectoverb Series II & Lonesta

I know this sounds like a dumb question, but I dont know too much about Mesa's and I own a rectoverb and love i, but I see many artists using the Lonestar (Soulive, Charlie Hunter, Scofield) and i was just wondering what the major differences were? Thanks
