Here’s how I did it!
Remove the front grill as it makes it easier to pull the amp out.
Unscrew the screws on the handle & remove it as the bolts are slightly proud on the other side & can catch on the amp chassis when you pull it out.
Remove the tube guard if you still have it fitted.
Slacken off the locknut on the supporting bolt under the big transformer.
Slacken off the transformer support nut to leave some space between it & the transformer.
Lay the head on its front face on the carpet.
Slacken off the front pair of top bolts first then remove them.
Slacken off the 2 rear bolts one at a time carefully supporting the amp by holding the transformer on that side from the rear.
When the bolts are removed carefully pull the chassis out & when you have room unplug the 2 cables from the reverb tank on the right hand side of the chassis viewed from the rear. The metal one can be a little fiddly & may need a pair of pliers to grip it.
(Extra pair of hands helps here but if you follow my advice below this will be the only time you need to do this! :mrgreen: )
Clearly be careful what you are touching as there are lethal voltages inside! :twisted:
Before putting it all back in I used some tin snips to cut approx 3 mm off the corner of the plate on the top of the reverb tank.
This allows you to unplug the reverb cables on the tank itself in future & slide the cable through the gap when you pull the amp out leaving the other 2 ends connected to the amp chassis.
