Hey all you Boogie lovers out there-

Trying to find out some info about this old Boogie combo I acquired recently.
1x12, Looks to be pretty well used, and has been re-capped and re-tubed.
Has an old Altec 417-8H series 2 speaker in it.
All punch tape labels on the back, there is one above the "speakers" label
next to the speaker plug that has "A1207" on it. Is that a serial number?
Also the bottom of the head has green writing indicating what tubes go in
what socket, along with the letters RIS or RLS and what must be a date 8-77.
I don't think this is a re-issue, any information would be appreciated-

It sounds awesome…..

I have some pictures but I can't find a way to attach them?

A1207 is the serial #. It is an original Mark I combo. The letters are RCS = Randall Smith.

Yes I have pictures but I can't seem to find where to attach them to upload....

Use either Photobucket or Picasa. Set up an account and post the pics there. You'll then direct your post over there. Below are instructions that someone gave me to help me when I started out on the forum. I was using picasa and I pasted them below.

- Find the album that contains the photo you want to share with us, and click on the album.
- On the far right of the page, you'll see your Google profile picture and the main picture for the album.
- Underneath the main album picture, you'll see the current privacy setting. Make sure it's set to "Limited, anyone with the link".
- Click on the picture you want to share.
- In the far right column you will see "Link to This Photo." Click on that.
- Select the image size you want.
- Make sure "Image Only (no link)" is checked.
- Finally, copy the link listed under "Embed Image"

Now the Boogie Board part:

- Paste the link
- Highlight the link and click on "Img" at the top

Wow...an original Mark I with Randall Smith's initials on it. That's quite a find, no matter what condition it's in.
