I had $4K to burn. So I got a good deal on a new LP Custom with purchase of a Boogie Mark V Head.

I really didn't need the amp head, but it's nice now to have a backup. However, I feel that this is the first non-essential Boogie purchase I have made. I mean, I already own two Mesa Triaxis Preamps and Simul-Class 2:Ninety poweramps, which I adore. I didn't really have GAS too bad. I needed the guitar...which I got for a steal of a deal. It really hasn't sunk in yet, but I have more cool gear than I ever had ever in my entire life. It feels like I've won the lottery or something. It's a strange feeling. Good gear is starting to accumulate and there's not a Line 6 or Peavey to be found. Should I be worried?

I dunno. I'm throwing EL34s in my workhorse Mark V for the fun of it. Life is good.

When I first bought my Roadster I realized that I now had a surplus Recto (2 channel).

At first it kind of bugged me.

Then I got over it.
