I often use my Sony Cybershot camera to record record ideas, it's not the best as far as the mic goes, but it takes no setup time(well like 5 seconds) and it works. I figured I would start torturing the Boogie Board with it.

Anyways, here's the Nomad doing it's thing, I'm not a fan of "scooped" tones, mostly because they get lost in a band settings (not always though).
D'oh, I forgot the stupid link...

Where is the audio ?
Am I missing something here ?

Yep, I'm idiot.
 Thanks Sombra, I totally forgot to add the **** song link.
I fixed the orig. post.

Really awsome tone.
Please double track your guitar.
I mean no copy/paste.Record 2 tracks and open them right and left.
Than it will be awsoooooooooome !!!!

Thanks for the compliment.
I recorded this using my Sony Digital camera, as I mentioned:p
When I "record" I use my Yamaha AW1600 and mic my 4x12.
The "drum machine you hear is a Yamaha keyboard in the backround playing a stock rock drum beat, it was just to keep tempo.
I literally set the camera up about 8 feet from the cab pointing right at it.
When I make a few more riffs to go with it , I'll record it properly, double tracked even;)

considering that it comes from a digital camera yours' really a great tone E_R!

hot ****, thats good tone!!

thanks fopr teh settings, gonna try in on my nomad in the morning!
8)

red or orange for rhythm? red do it best?
what pickups you using in that lp? :?:

Ok so I Re-recorded this on my yamaha AW1600 (quick and easy) the right side is the red chan with the pictured settings.
The left side is the Orange chan ( I have to find the pic of those settings, I took them and can't find them on my computer ...dammit)

same file "Nomad red Chan riff"
oh BTW , a few people asked..no Im not the guitar player on the other tunes....no really LOL, it's a buddy of mine named Dallas (guy on the far right on the SC picture).

The mic was the same on each chan. Sen. 906e (no not a 609) about 4 inches away (because that's where it likes it???) anyway the guitar I used is my 2000 Epi Lespaul Limited (tone pro bridge, Seymour Custom in the bridge and a 59' in the neck, all wiring out of a 72' lespaul gold top and knobs. stock tuners, they stap put for me, but I did take them apart and file all the gears , greased them up and reinstalled)
My cab is a all pine hardwood Electro Harmonix 4x12 (not the 4x10) with stupid old Emminence 25 watt 8 ohm speakers.
I use Hosa pro line instrument cables and make my own 10 guage speaker cable.
No effects (maybe a little of the amps reverb) on this recording.
The reverse /sweep delay you hear is after the fact From Adobe Audition 2.0 (mostly because I flubbed real bad going into the next riff so I cut it LOL).
No post EQ or anything else to the guitar tracks.
You don't have to be "impressed" or "in love with" the tone, don't say "gee it don't sound like my dual rec LOL duh we all know that LOL.
I just though it would be fun to share my guitar tone because I could.
D'oh the Nomad was set on 50 watts stock boogie tubes all around (save for the V1 which is a JJ a friend gave me).
I had the master/main output volume just under 11 o'clock so it was a "little" loud LOL.
Questions, I'll be happy to answer what I can.

I found the Orange Chan pic
