Yo Boogie Board! I have an issue with my old Rev G Triple Rec. It is making a buzzing noise through the speakers, even when there is nothing plugged into the head. I've tried different speaker cables, different outlets, and new preamp tubes that I had for my Dual. I haven't been able to try new power tubes and I don't want to drop the $130 unless I'm pretty sure it's the power tubes. I normally only use the modern high gain channel so I never really noticed the noise until I recently tried messing with the clean channel and realized it was super buzzy. The tubes haven't been changed for quite some time. What do you guys think?

My Single Rec was recently making some unusual noises and I unplugged everything from the amp except for the speaker cabinet. It was still making the noise so I changed the preamp tubes one by one and still had the problem. I changed the power tubes and problem solved! I'm not saying you have the same issues going on, but that seems like the normal steps to diagnosing a problem with these amps. Good luck with figuring out the source of the buzzing......
