No Ch 3 Light

Hi

I just noticed that the channel select light for channel 3 is not working. 1 & 2 work fine and I see #3 selected on the footswitch - but just not on the panel. The channel is definitely on.

Is this indicative of deeper issues? Or is it something I can ignore? I'd hate to bring it into an authorized dealer for just a minor thing (although it is under warranty).

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the foot switch. If that doesn't help, repeat but power cycle between. Let us know what happens.

Brilliant - that did the trick!

FYI - I turned it off unplugged the fs from the back then put it back in. Turned on the amp, clicked ch 3 and the light started flickering. Not quite full on. Then unplugged the fs and put it back in, hit ch 3 and viola' = full red light.

bummer ... it's back.

What's strange is that the light will come on for about 30 seconds and then go off again. It doesn't really bother me, I'm more concerned if it's a sign of bigger badder things lurking. I had a IV melt down and catch fire once. That was not fun.

What's next, pull the head out of the cabinet and spay a little compressed air in the general vicinity?
